OPPC (Optical Phase Conductor) is similar to the OPGW with regards to its multi-purpose use.
OPPC is used both as telecommunication line with its optical fiber component and is also used
as a phase conductor. It has various designs but it’s generally constructed with aluminum
alloy wires and a number of stainless steel tubes containing optical fibers with thixotropic gel
for fiber protection, water resistance and hydrogen absorbing properties.

OPPC (Optik Faz İletkeni), çok amaçlı kullanımı açısından OPGW’ye benzer. OPPC fiber optik
bileşeni ile hem telekomünikasyon hattı olarak hem de faz iletkeni olarak kullanılmaktadır. Çeşitli
tasarımları vardır, ancak genellikle alüminyum alaşımlı teller ve fiber koruması, su direnci ve
hidrojen emme özellikleri için thixotropic jel ile optik fiberler içeren bir dizi paslanmaz çelik tüp
ile imal edilir.
